- To make snow buy a foam ball and shave it into tiny particles.
- Perhaps buy fake snow. Maybe here http://www.thomasfx.com/Instant-Snow-1-lb_p_7686.html (Available in 44 pound bags, unsure if safe or for how much)
- Frostbite tutorials in Youtube.
- To simulate night, use one or two lights, create a rig to block out the sunlight, almost like a tent. It’s better to control the dark then to shoot at night.
